Dozens of Intellectuals Call for an Inclusive Dialogue to End the War

The "Inclusive Dialogue to End the War and Establish a New Civil State" conference concluded today in Kampala, Uganda. The forum brought together 47 intellectuals and writers interested in Sudanese affairs from various ideological and political backgrounds. Participants emphasized the importance of conducting an inclusive dialogue that excludes no party, aiming to end the war in Sudan and establish a democratic state that avoids state failure and ensures sustainable peace.
The attendees stressed the necessity of a civil state that guarantees a balance between citizens' beliefs, separates religion from state institutions, and focuses on equality. They also underscored the importance of holding an inclusive dialogue leading to the drafting of a constitution that contributes to building a new civil state.
